Cheri Rohlman

Cheri holds a graduate degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. Her under-graduate degree is from City University in Renton, WA. She completed her internship at Good Samaritan Behavior Health and Pacific Lutheran University before opening private practice. Cheri is a life learner and will continue to learn new tools to better help you.
Cheri is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA.) She uses hypnotherapy as one more tool to help you with addictions, weight loss, stopping smoking, and pain management. She is a certified Pain Management Specialist and Bariatric counseling specialist with IMDHA.
Prior to entering the therapy field, Cheri worked for the federal government in a social service setting. She has worked as an active volunteer in non-profit organizations including Parents Without Partners, Operation Results, and Washington Education Foundation.
Cheri's approach to therapy creates a partnership with the couple or client necessary for development of goals, healthy boundaries, and empowerment of the client for change. Directly communicating client strengths and modeling new behavior offers the client the opportunity to achieve milestones leading to increased self-esteem and more satisfying relationships. Cheri believes understanding one's challenges and roadblocks opens the doors to new attitudes as well as interest in changing our behaviors.
